Speech as a control element
With LINGUATRONIC everything is tuned in to one command: yours. The system allows you to use speech recognition to control numerous functions on board with spoken commands. So your hands stay on the wheel and you can stay focused on traffic.

The new enhanced LINGUATRONIC generation is easier to operate and now has expanded features. So the contacts stored in your phone are recognised without speech training. Operating the radio channels and navigation system is also now simpler, and control of the navigation system has also been optimised. As of now, place and street names can be activated using innovative whole-word recognition. As the synonym database for the speech recognition was expanded and a cough filter was added to the system, the new LINGUATRONIC generation works even more reliably – just as you would expect in a Mercedes-Benz.
