A dynamic drive in the new CLC Sports Coupé comes courtesy of the elaborate suspension technology and the wide track. The tautly tuned suspension handles every curve with sporty ease. An even lower sports suspension is also available as an optional extra, with particularly dynamic characteristics which do justice to its name.
In conjunction with the optional sports package, a brand new direct steering with variable steering force transfer is also included. With it, the steering wheel must be moved only very slightly when driving around curves. The CLC then responds even more spontaneously to steering commands and is characterised by sporty handling. As a result, direct steering in critical situations – e.g. during a sudden evasive manoeuvre – also helps to improve driving safety, as test runs by Mercedes engineers prove.
