First of all, as legally required, the vehicle is drained of all fluids (such as oil, brake fluid), which are then recycled.
All reusable parts as well as recyclable materials are then removed. Recyclable materials such as glass, tyres, large plastic parts etc., are processed using separate recycling techniques.
The rest of the bodywork is shredded and separated into its different components. As far as possible, these are then recovered and reused.
