Mercedes-Benz Museum – for visitors

Something interesting for everyone
Experience the Mercedes-Benz Museum: the fascination of 1500 exhibits on 16,500m2. You can explore them any way you want, we offer you many different possibilities to do it.
TOURS OF THE MUSEUM
We offer you two highly interesting tours with which to discover the museum. Take the Legend tour for a chronological history of Mercedes‑Benz. Explore the history of the company, groundbreaking automobiles and the events of the day.

On the Collection tour the exhibits are grouped thematically: in the "Helpers’ Gallery", fire and emergency services vehicles; in the "Travel Gallery", buses and coaches, and in the "Gallery of Names", Lady Diana’s Mercedes-Benz SL, are all waiting to be discovered by you.

THEMATIC GUIDED TOURS
Our thematic tours, guided by experts, will offer fascinating insights into the museum: the automobile guided tour, the art tour, the technical tour in the area of Engineering Fascination or a tour of the manufacturing facilities starting at the museum. You can either book one of these as an individual guided tour or you can take part in an open guided tour for groups. The tours are offered in different languages.

A personal guided tour with one of our museum guides will provide a fascinating overview of the two museum tours, further enlivened by a wealth of stories, anecdotes and background information.

If you would rather tour the museum alone, our modern Audio Guide can help you to discover it. We have a special Children’s programme for our little visitors from the age of 6, which their parents often enjoy listening to as well. And our young guests from the age of 15 upwards are welcome to come to the museum without their parents if they wish.

OPEN GUIDED TOURS FOR GROUPS
It is not possible to make advance reservations for guided tours for groups. Tickets can be obtained at a price of 4.00 Euros per person at the museum box office - subject to availability. The maximum number of participants in these guided tours for groups is 20 persons. The manufacturing facilities open tour has a maximum group size of 30 participants. Engineering Fascination guided tours and guided tours of the factory are free of charge. The minimum age for taking part in these tours is 16. Times are subject to change at short notice so that it is recommended you inquire about their exact availability when you arrive at the museum.
